ChaiFM is Africa’s only Jewish community radio station and the world’s only English medium Jewish talk station outside Israel. It broadcasts from Johannesburg on 101.9 FM, 24 hours a day, six days a week, going off air from Friday night to Saturday night for Shabbat. Programming covers Middle East and world Jewry news, current affairs, finance, health, lifestyle, and Jewish education, with music spanning Mizrahi, Israeli pop, jazz, classical, and mainstream hits.
